This Friday at noon, Shawn Clouse will give a lunchtime lecture. The presentation will describe the Management Information Systems (MIS) program in the School of Business Administration as well as look at some of the similarities and differences between Business and Computer Science and the niche that MIS is trying to fill at the intersection. The presentation will also cover some current MIS research on website usability.
Dr. Shawn Clouse is an Associate Professor of Management Information Systems (MIS) in the School of Business Administration at The University of Montana. He earned a MBA from The University of Montana in 1990 and his doctorate in Higher Education and Technology Leadership from The University of Montana in 2001. Shawn completed a Post-Doc in MIS at Washington State University in 2009. He teaches courses on networking, e-Commerce, project management, systems analysis & design, and multimedia development. His research interests include information privacy, website usability, utilizing technology for teaching and learning, and the technology issues related to e-Commerce and business processes.
